Ink Therapy: Clarity begins on the Page

For years, I believed something was wrong with me. My life looked anything but structured. It felt unplanned, unpredictable, improvised. Everyone else seemed to know something I didn’t. They had a path. A pace. A plan. I couldn’t even name what I was missing. I only knew I didn’t have it. With nothing solid to lean on, no defined skill, no leverage, no clear career path, I turned to the one thing I had always carried with me in my quiver: writing. Since childhood, writing has been how I make sense of what I see, what I feel, and how I connect with the world. When I returned to it during the pandemic, I realised writing isn't only just about stories, poems, or articles that my experiences could yield...the craft of it. Writing could also give me something that I thought was elusive and rare- clarity. Something that I could not access by thinking alone.
